LogScope requires a code to activate. You can register to enter an activation code by following these instructions 

Activation of the software involves just typing in a code that will be supplied by HRP. This code gives the software a length of license that can be any length in time measured in days. Typically subscription lasts a year.

The first step after registering is finding the user account details which is under portrait symbol on type right hand of screen on Windows and iOS (iPhone and iPad)

Tap on this symbol and select enter activation code like here on windows. Follow this video on iPhone/iPad
